Methodology
Forrester Research conducted a survey of 7,690 consumers ages 18 and older in Japan, South Korea, Australia, metropolitan China (including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, and Xian ), and metropolitan India (including Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Chennai) using a combination of phone, in-person, and online methodologies. The data in metropolitan China was collected using a Random Digit Dial (RDD) method; the data in India was collected via in-person surveys; and the data in Japan, South Korea, and Australia was collected using an online methodology. Forrester Research weighted the data by age, gender, and geographical distribution to be representative of the adult population in each country or region surveyed.
